VOTER INFORMATION
In order to register to vote in Florida, you must:

Be a Florida resident

Be a citizen of the United States of America (a lawful permanent resident is not a U.S. citizen)

Be 18 years old (you may pre-register to vote if you are 16 or 17).

Not have been judged mentally incapacitated
As of 2018, felons may register to vote if they meet these additional requirements:

The felony conviction was not murder and not a felony sexual offense

You have completed the sentence in full (including all fines, fees, and restitution that were part of the sentence)

Florida is a closed primary state. If you wish to vote in a Democratic Primary, including for Presidential Preference, you must be a registered Democrat. All registered voters may vote in non-partisan primaries
3 Ways to Vote

Vote By Mail - Vote by mail (absentee) ballots are available to all registered voters in Florida. Request online, call 561-656-6200, or you can request a ballot in writing up to 10 days before an election.

Early Voting - All early voting sites are available to all Palm Beach County voters, regardless of precinct. Photo ID with signature is required. There is no Early Voting for the Municipal Elections.

Vote on Election Day - Polls are open from 7 AM to 7 PM. Voting is allowed in assigned polling location only. Photo ID with signature is required.

A voter identification card will be mailed to you approximately 2-3 weeks after your application is processed.

Update Your Registration
If you are already registered to vote in Florida but you need to update any information on your voter registration record, you can submit a change using any of the Register to Vote options. These changes can include changing your address, switching your political party, and updating your signature. You can also call the Supervisor of Elections office to file a change of address.
